How we rank hotels

AnnaHotels ranks hotels with a Bayesian review-weighted score, not raw ratings. A 10.0 from two reviews does not beat a 9.4 from eight hundred: each property's rating is weighted by its review count against the destination average (prior m = 25 reviews). Properties with fewer than 3 reviews never appear in top positions.

The data comes from Booking.com guest reviews across 40,000+ properties in 192 destinations, refreshed periodically. Every list page states its real numbers: how many places matched, the average score of the top picks, and the total review base behind them.

Our "updated" dates are honest — they change only when a page's content actually changes, never as decoration. We only ask search engines to index pages that offer genuinely distinct value; near-duplicate lists are excluded by design.
